SHRM-KC Code of Conduct


As a member of the Society for Human Resource Management of Greater Kansas City (SHRM-KC), I pledge myself to:

    • Maintain the highest standards of professional and personal conduct;
    • Support SHRM-KC’s goals and objectives for developing the human resource management profession;
    • Refrain from any type of inappropriate and/or unwelcome solicitation during SHRM-KC sponsored events;
    • Utilize the membership roster for the purpose of professional association only;
    • Communicate the Code to my guest(s).

The Society for Human Resource Management of Greater Kansas City (SHRM-KC) exists for the development and association of human resource professionals. The Code of Conduct has been adopted to promote and maintain the highest standards of personal conduct and professional standards among its members. By joining SHRM-KC, a member espouses this Code, thereby assuring fellow members confidence in the integrity and intent of their involvement in the association as well as that of their guest(s). Members not adhering to the Code, or members whose guest(s) are found in violation, will be considered as a member not in good standing.
