“How do teams become high-performing and maintain an elevated standard that promotes sustained business growth?” The answer to this question is one that every leader is faced with at one point or another. As leaders continue to play an indispensable role in their respective teams, ongoing efforts must consider the evolving needs of their employees. This effort includes understanding influences and perceptions of satisfaction with fellow team members and overall culture; areas which can drive productivity, growth, and innovation among others. With input from 2,650 global respondents as well as related insights from experts in the field, Dale Carnegie sought to better understand some of the drivers behind high-performing teams and what sets them apart in the workplace. In addition, we reflect on how considerations surrounding this strategic approach and cultural shift to the workplace impacts the quality of teamwork, satisfaction, and productivity.

This session will be facilitated by Rachel Bacon. Rachel's all about personal growth and development, having spent three years at Dale Carnegie in Tennessee before jumping onboard with Dale Carnegie Missouri in 2023. She's on a mission to help people unleash their full potential. Driven by enthusiasm, Rachel approaches each training session with contagious energy, inspiring participants to strive for excellence. While Rachel spends time in the training room, she is also involved on the client side of the business. She loves partnering with clients to find the right solutions to fit their business needs. She has partnered with organizations across Kansas City with a wide range of industries, from manufacturing to engineering to construction. Rachel attended Harding University, where she was a member on the women’s soccer team and received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing. It was her senior year of college, when she was in a Relationship Strategies course, that she realized her passion for interpersonal communication and understanding how people connect with one another. It was from that course that she was introduced to Dale Carnegie. Her goal is to see lives impacted through positive change! Rachel loves her dog (Ross), traveling, playing soccer, training for her next race, being involved with her church, and singing ‘Unwritten’ at karaoke nights.
