The Future of HR!

Presented by
Kelly Reed
Vice President, Market Leader

July 10, 2018 | 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m

In a world that is rapidly changing, it is increasingly important for HR professionals to stay on top of emerging human capital trends and shifting dynamics that can impact the world of work. In this session, Kelly Reed, Ph.D., Vice President and Market Leader for CMA Kansas City, will provide an overview of the top human capital trends today, as well as a longer-term outlook for the future of work.

About the speaker.  Kelly Reed, Ph.D. leads the CMA Kansas City office.  A natural "systems thinker" who is incredibly process-oriented, Kelly's work at CMA has spanned across a spectrum of services. Her unique expertise is handling complex, systems-level interventions (such as cultural change and organizational performance improvement) and helping assess and develop individual leaders.  Prior to joining CMA in 2008, Kelly consulted internally for a multi-national organization where she honed her expertise by assisting in the design, execution and evaluation of leadership and organizational development programs.  She also delivered assessment feedback for VP and director-level leaders and helped organizational leaders create and execute individualized development plans.  Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Psychology from Truman State University, and she was awarded a grant to study the impact of non-cognitive competencies on medical students' success while pursuing her graduate studies at Saint Louis University.  She has also previously taught courses on emotional intelligence, organizational change, team effectiveness, and leadership development in the MBA program at the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University.  Kelly and husband share a passion for traveling with their two daughters - recent trips include treks around Europe, New Zealand, Costa Rica and Istanbul.

This program has been pre-approved for 1.0 hour of SHRM CP/SCP professional development credit through SHRM ( and the 1.0 hour of business (strategic) credit through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
